六 四之夜
请点亮一支蜡烛
今年,二零零九年的六月 四日,是震惊中外的北京天安门民主运动整整二 十周年。
二 十年前,无数忧国忧民的中国青年学生,为了国家的民主富强,发出了反专制反贪腐开放党禁报禁的强烈呼声,却遭到了执政当局的无情镇压。多少热血青年的热血,又一次洒在了他们所挚爱的土地上。
二 十年来,中国确实发生了很大的变化,经济得到了长足发展,人民生活有了明显改善,但执政当局曾经许诺的政治体制改革几乎停滞,六 四当年的强烈要求不仅没有兑现,反而贪腐愈演愈烈,贫富更加悬殊,资源枯竭环境污染……二 十年了,尽管当局淡化了那场运动的性质,但冤案没有得到平反,正义没有得到伸张。
公正地说,中国今天的经济成就,老百姓有所得益,离不开那场民主运动;许多海外华人的居留发展,享受自由民主安康,更与六 四息息相关。饮水思源,我们不能愧对已经离开人世二 十周年的死者。我们秉着良心吁请全球华人,地不分东西南北,人不分男女老幼,在今年的六 四之夜,请点亮一支蜡烛:
为那些在天安门民主运动中倒下的年轻无辜的生命,为那些失去儿女至今未获公道的天安门母亲们,为六十年来为中国的民主富强奋不顾身前仆后继的无数英烈,也为在专制体制下非正常死亡的几千万不安的灵魂,为他们,今年的六 四之夜,请点亮一支蜡烛。
如果当晚你不能去公众组织的祭奠场合点亮蜡烛,那么,在你的家里,在你的工作场地,在旅行途中,在六 四当晚的任何地方,请点亮一支蜡烛。
如果上面提到的,对你还是不够方便,那么,请在你的心里点亮一支蜡烛。
我们相信,无数支同时点燃的蜡烛必将照亮今夜,也照亮明天的中国。
