JOIN PICO IYER FOR DINNER IN BALI…

If you need a guide to far-flung places, you can’t ask for anyone better than celebrated travel writer Pico Iyer, who was named by the Utne Reader as one of 100 visionaries worldwide who “could change your life”.

One of the most highly regarded travel writers alive today, Pico always seeks the roads less-travelled. With his two novels and six works of non-fiction, he has brought alive the inner worlds of North Korea, Easter Island, Paraguay and Ethiopia, among other places. His book Video Nights in Kathmandu has been listed as one of the top travel books of all time.

Given his passion for exploring places where mysticism and globalism converge, it’s no surprise that Pico has chosen to travel to Bali for a well-earned break after his participation in the Sydney Writers’ Festival.

While in Bali, Pico will take part in a series of literary dinners and travel writing seminars in some of the most elegant and breath-taking locations the island has to offer. These include the stunning resorts - Amandari and Maya Ubud Resort in Ubud, the Four Seasons Jimbaran and the Canggu Club.

Pico is a captivating speaker whose recounting of experiences will leave you wide-eyed in wonderment. And what better setting to be inspired than in the naturally intoxicating surrounds of Ubud and Bali.

Pico’s visit has been made possible by Garuda Indonesia, the Conrad Bali Resort & Spa, the Amandari,
the Maya Ubud Resort, Four Seasons Jimbaran and the Canggu Club. Garuda are also generously offering special travel packages to Bali for this event. For more information, visit http://www.ubudwritersfestival.com or email (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
