School of Literature and Creative Writing, University of East Anglia - 2007 Fellowships now open

The Charles Pick Fellowship is a 6 month residential Fellowship, designed to give support to the work of a new and, as yet, unpublished writer of fictional or non-fictional prose, with an award of £10,000 and free accommodation at the University of East Anglia. The David TK Wong Fellowship competition is open to published and unpublished writers planning to produce a work of prose fiction in English which deals seriously with some aspect of life in the Far East.  This residential Fellowship lasts one academic year, with an award of £25,000. The David Wong Fellow takes up their position from 1st October 2007. http://www.uea.ac.uk/eas/fellowships/wong/wong.shtml

Applications for both Fellowships will be considered from writers of any age and any nationality. The successful candidate will be selected by a distinguished international panel. There will be no interviews.  The deadline for entries is 31st January 2007.
