ABOUT US:

1. Although PLC is anchored in the contemporary literary communities of Australia and Indonesia, our interests are far-reaching.  We are committed to the survival and revival of traditional arts and literary genres, as well as having a deep concern for the protection of the land, especially in Bali.  These diverse interests are reflected in our founding membership.

2. Our vision is to increase communication and understanding between communities of the Asia and Pacific regions by initiating cultural exchange.  We will achieve this by offering a positive and stimulating experience of Indonesia both for local and overseas writers.

3. We will implement our vision through literary and educational programs, our publications, and a series of residencies and exchanges [literary and / or educational] in various inspirational Indonesian locations.
