The Melbourne PEN Centre has for over sixty years brought together writers, editors and translators in support of the mission of International PEN: to promote freedom of expression and resist the repression of writers; and to work for literature as the expression of a civilised society.
The PEN All-India Centre is happy to announce two exciting new events in the month of April 2006:
i) The launch of PEN@PRITHVI: Bombay’s new hub for the written word
ii) The launch of PENUMBRA: A Journal of the PEN All-India Centre
