The Fellowship is an annual award of £25,000. Fellows take up their appointments on 1st October each year and accommodation will be provided on campus at the University of East Anglia, to be paid for by the Fellow out of the Fellowship Award.

Mohit Prasad teaches Pacific/Postcolonial Literatures and Creative writing at the University of the South Pacific (USP) in Fiji. He has published two volumes of poetry through the Pacific Writing Forum based at USP, Eyes of the Mask (1998) and Eating Mangoes (2000).

I lived in Central Asia for nearly four years, from June 2002 to March 2006, first as a university instructor through the U.S. Peace Corps and later as manager of the Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship Program in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. I currently live with my wife at the
