Chinese Contemporary Art Consultants presents the art of Yang Yongliang. “On the Quiet Water” is a showcase of Yang’s most recent images from 2006-8.

This collection of photographic works muses on urbanisation and modernisation with reimaged traditional Shan-Shui (Mountains and Streams), landscapes and futuristic explosions. With a strong foundation in traditional Chinese artistic forms, followed by participation in a Shanghai experimental art group, Yang has produced paintings, sculptures and installations that reflect on contemporary Shanghai.
