At the PEN@Prithvi session for January 2011, we will present readings from the new literary magazine, Nether (which has bravely chosen to emerge in print; online presence at http://netherprint.wordpress.com/), and a discussion on the need for little magazines to sustain the lively literary culture of a genuine metropolis.

Participants include Rohan Chhetri, Divya Nadkarni, A b Datta and Ishita Bal of Nether, as well as contributors to the magazine, and Sampurna Chattarji and Ranjit Hoskote of PEN.
